David Suzuki’s “If you were Prime Minister” tour

David Suzuki wants to know what you would do for the environment if you were Prime Minister.  On February 1st he began his 50-city tour in St. John’s, Newfoundland.  He is asking Canadians to vote for the environment, to pressure politicians of all parties and demand change.

Those in the Toronto area have an opportunity to hear Suzuki speak along with Stephen Lewis, former UN Special Envoy on Monday, February 12th.  The event will be at the Winter Garden Theatre at 7:30 PM.  Tickets are $20/$15 for students and seniors.  You can get tickets from the Winter Garden box office or online at www.ticketmaster.ca.  The Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment is the local partner for this event.
