In the lead up to the provincial election in October, the Ontario Clean Air Alliance will be preparing numerous pamphlets, fact sheets and other materials explaining the tremendous benefits of phasing out dirty coal. To make sure these materials have lots of impact, we need to refresh our stock of coal plant photos. So we are asking our supporters to send us snaps of Ontario's four remaining coal plants. Grab a Lake Erie perch burger while getting some shots of Nanticoke, stop off in Atikokan on your way to Quetico, take a short detour while birding in Essex to the Lambton plant or click off a few frames while visiting Thunder Bay (or heading along the Lake Superior coast). This is your chance to have your photo seen by hundreds of thousands of people and to help with clearing our air. You can Google location maps for each plant using these addresses: If you have some photos to send along, please email low resolution files (e.g., less than 200 KB) to Jessica@cleanairalliance.org by June 18th. If we like what we see, we'll contact you about obtaining a higher resolution copy and permission information. Please pass this message on to your friends. Thank you Jessica Fracassi |
