From: Young, Jamie Dear Resident, Thank you for expressing your concerns relating to the Ontario Power Authority’s (OPA) process to construct a simple cycle natural gas fired electricity facility in Northern York Region. East Gwillimbury council took the time to listen to all resident input and information available from the OPA. On June 18th Council unanimously passed a resolution making it clear that we do not support this type of development in our municipality or anywhere in Ontario for that matter.
