Nanticoke Conversion Study

The study identifies the emission reduction benefits and financial costs of replacing Nanticoke’s coal-fired boilers with new natural gas combined-cycle gas turbines relative to continuing to operate Nanticoke as a coal-fired plant under certain coal technology scenarios. Included are Excel Spreadsheets that allow users to change the inputs and re-calculate the results:

Base Case: Emissions and Emission Reductions by Pollutant and Scenario
Case S1: Lower Gas Price

c) Case S2: Higher Gas Price
Case S3: 70% ACF
Case S4: 80% ACF
