The Ontario Clean Air Alliance has been a leader in creating a vision for how Ontario can meet its energy needs without disrupting our climate or polluting our air.  To advance our progress toward a 100% renewable and a high efficiency, low-carbon future, we are focusing on three areas:

Improving our energy efficiency to lower costs and reduce pollution

Developing local green energy solutions to improve efficiency and increase our climate resilience

Creating a green electricity grid by avoiding more costly, high-risk nuclear mega projects and working with Quebec to import low-cost water power

As the organization that drove Ontario’s decision to phase out dirty coal, the OCAA is uniquely able to drive new groundbreaking policies, such as putting Conservation First in energy planning and increasing electricity trade with Quebec.
