There have been a number of claims that the rebuilding of four reactors at the Darlington Nuclear Station was completed “on time and on budget.” This factsheet provides evidence that this is simply not true. In fact, the project will be, at best, 25% over budget when it is actually complete, which will be at least six years from now. Ontarians deserve honest information about nuclear refurbishment and new build costs, not talking points.
