The new federal Build Canada Homes program is a huge opportunity to take a better approach to home building.

This program should require all new homes funded by the program be equipped with high efficiency heat pumps.

Heat pumps will deliver many advantages, from reduced costs and a lower climate footprint, to new economic opportunities and less reliance on imported American gas.
