The Government of Ontario’s plans to build GE-Hitachi nuclear reactors and new north-south transmission lines to export more electricity to the U.S. does not make sense.

Now is not the time to increase our economic dependency on the U.S.

Instead, we should be investing in renewable energy and expanding our east-west electricity grid to create jobs, keep our power in Canada, and lower our electricity bills.

Please ask the leaders of Ontario’s political parties to expand our east-west transmission grid with Quebec, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia. >>>
