Ontario’s Save on Energy program is now offering broader incentives for installing heat pumps in homes that rely on electric heat.
Unfortunately, this new program excludes many communities. This makes no sense because installing heat pumps in electrically heated homes helps people save big on energy costs (on average, $2,000 per year) and reduces the need for more fossil gas burning and expensive new electricity generation projects.
Tell Energy Minister Stephen Lecce and your MPP that we need to extend these incentives to all electrically heated homes in Ontario.
