Wasting Ontarians’ money on an aging and problem-plagued nuclear reactor in New Brunswick is not what Ontario Power Generation (OPG) should be focusing on.

Instead, it should clean up its act right here in Ontario and spend our money building proper above-ground, attack-resistant, reinforced concrete vaults to hold its deadly radioactive waste instead of leaving it in open pools and lakeside warehouses.

Tell Energy Minister Todd Smith and Premier Ford it’s time to get OPG (which the government of Ontario 100% owns) focused on what really matters – keeping people in Ontario safe – not wasting money on a nuclear lemon in New Brunswick.
