Ontario Power Generation is asking the Ontario Energy Board to raise its price of nuclear energy by 72.6% next year – a move that will drive up electricity bills for families and businesses.

But Toronto has much better options.

By investing in rooftop and parking lot solar, and offshore wind in Lake Ontario, we can generate lower cost electricity and phase-out gas burning at the Portlands Energy Centre – Toronto’s largest source of climate and air pollution.
