Should Ontario Power Generation (OPG) be allowed to expand conventional storage warehouses to store deadly radioactive waste on the shore of Lake Ontario or should it be required to build above-ground, attack-resistant, reinforced concrete vaults to store this waste?
The Nuclear Waste Management Organization says radioactive waste will remain at the Darlington Nuclear site until 2088. Should the Ontario government order OPG to construct hardened storage facilities at the Darlington site to store this waste for the next 60 years?
