Recent polling shows that Ontarians vastly prefer solar and wind energy to new American nuclear reactors that would require importing enriched uranium from the United States.
Ontarians would much rather see our government prioritize Made-in-Canada renewable energy than line the pockets of an American company – GE-Hitachi – which would make our energy system even more vulnerable to the whims of the American government.
The Ford government needs to rethink its priorities and do what 80% of Ontarians would prefer – cancel the GE-Hitachi contract and pivot to low cost, safe and proven renewable energy instead. Let’s also work with Manitoba, Quebec and the Maritimes to make Canada a renewable energy superpower.
Please ask Premier Ford to take full advantage of Made-in-Canada low-cost renewable power instead of wasting billions on risky, untested American nuclear technology >>>
