Solar energy is now one of our lowest cost sources of energy. Solar installations on rooftops, parking lots and municipal centres in Toronto could provide enough energy to meet 50-80% of the city’s electricity needs. It would also help us shutdown the polluting Portlands Gas plant on the city’s waterfront.

We need city council, Toronto Hydro and the Independent Electricity System Operator to develop a strong plan to maximize solar use in this city.
