Ontario is planning to massively ramp up the use of climate damaging gas-fired power plants. This will undermine the federal government's efforts to achieve a 40 to 45% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. Fortunately, there are a number of actions the federal government can take to persuade Ontario to phase out rather than increasing gas-fired power.
