A new report prepared for Toronto City Council identifies some important ways the city can dramatically reduce the need to burn gas at the Portlands plant on the waterfront. From expanding rooftop and parking lot solar to boosting participation in the Peak Perks program and investigating the potential for offshore wind, the report describes a much healthier future for our city.

But we need city council to move this from concept to action with ambitious, concrete targets and deadlines.
